TITLE Professional Development Clerk
SWAEC Main Building
Fulltime - 240 Days
  This is a Classified Position
GENERAL INFORMATION Ensure the efficient operation of the department of professional development.. Work under general supervision and handles professional development records and scheduling with frequent contact with all levels of co-op employees, outside agencies, and the general public.
DUTIES

Primary Purpose:
Ensure the efficient operation of the department of professional development.. Work under general supervision and handles professional development records and scheduling with frequent contact with all levels of co-op employees, outside agencies, and the general public.

Qualifications: 
Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent
Must complete required state credentialing requirements (Background check, Fingerprinting)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • *Dedicated hard worker with ability to report to work on a daily basis.
  • *Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff.
  • *Knowledge of co-op organization, operations, and administrative policies.
  • *Ability to cooperatively work with others. *Proficient typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance skills
  • *Self-motivated

Major Responsibilities and Duties: 
Part 1 - Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • *Assist with calls on the multi line system
  • *Maintain a calendar with all meetings and workshops scheduled at the Co-op
  • *Responsible for entering workshops in the ESC work system
  • *Responsible for getting approval from TCC, then booking workshops in various meeting rooms and creating hard copy sheets
  • *Responsible for monitoring workshop registration numbers.
  • *Responsible for professional development billing
  • *Responsible for recording attendance of participants in workshops in ESC Works when needed
  • *Responsible for printing sign in sheets for all workshops
  • *Responsible for making sure handouts are in the meeting room at least 1 hour before the meeting begins
  • *Assist participants with any questions concerning ESC Works
  • *Responsible for updating TV screens daily
  • *Responsible for all catering
  • *Responsible for electronic fingerprinting
  • *Responsible for ordering office supplies (i.e. ink cartridges)
  • *Responsible for turning on computer lab and other training equipment for presenters when Technology Coordinator is not available
  • *Responsible for making sure all laptops and carts are plugged in and charging/ed
  • *Responsible for assembling and organizing the annual report and completion of the annual report
  • *Complete special projects submitted by SWAEC school districts as well as projects submitted by our co-op coordinators
  • *Assist with serving lunch for Co-op meetings or workshop
  • *Responsible for taking and receipting all money paid to the Professional Development Office
  • *Responsible for making deposits at least every Thursday
  • *Support Teacher Center when needed
  • *Other duties as assigned by the Teacher Center Coordinator or the Director

  • *Adhere to all regulations and policies of the organization.
  • *Demonstrate a professional presence when using personal and cooperative social media accounts.
  • *Carry out other duties as assigned by all supervisors.
